We carry out multiple recruitment trips per year, predominantly in the UAE and Philippines. We will advertise our recruitment events on Facebook and through our network of candidates before each event. If you meet our criteria (included in advert) you will then be invited to a Face to Face interview in either the UAE or Philippines. If you are outside of these locations and have passed your English Test, we can arrange for a Skype interview. If you are successful at interview, you will be told on the day and an offer letter detailing your trust and full package will be emailed to you within 10 days. Recruitment process:

1. Interview: You can join one of our face to face interviews in the UAE or Philippines.(Keep an eye out for our advertised dates) alternatively if you have passed your English language exam, we could arrange a Skype interview.
2. Offer letter: You will receive your offer letter within 10 days.
3. English Language test: You can take either the UKVI IELTS or Academic IELTS and score 7 in each section & 6.5 in Writing or you can take the OET and score a B in each section and a C+ in Writing.
4. NMC initial registration: You need to upload your Passport, Qualification and Registration information to the NMC website.
5. Pass your CBT.
6. NMC final application: You will then provide health declaration, police clearances and English language evidence.
7. Pre-employment checks carried out by YDH prior to arrival in the UK.
8. Once you arrive you will work as a Band 4 nurse.
9. Complete your OSCE training.
10. Pass your OSCE exam.
11. Become a Band 5 UKRN and then look to bring your family over.

All nurses practising in the UK must be registered with the Nursing Midwifery Council (NMC.) Before you are able to join us, you will need to have applied to the NMC to register as a nurse in the UK. You will need to gain Level 7 in Reading, Speaking, Listening and 6.5 in writing on the International English Language Tests (academic IELTs) or a B in Reading, Speaking, Listening and C+ in writing on the Occupational English Test (OET). You will also need to pass part one of the test of competence (CBT.) This is a theoretical practice-based knowledge. The test format will be multiple-choice and can be taken in test centres around the world. We can then start the process of completing the pre-employment checks and, if needed, the visa application process.

Yes you can HOWEVER we initially like you to come on your own until you have passed your OSCE exam. Once you pass your OSCE and receive your PIN from the NMC you are then a Registered Nurse in the UK and your Visa is secure. At the point of passing your OSCE and bringing your family over, please note you will be responsible for paying for your husband/wife/children’s Visa’s, Health Immigration Surcharges and flights. You will also need to find suitable accommodation for your family. Each trust has different accommodation and policies, so please speak with your recruitment officer at the point of signing your offer letter to discuss accommodation and family questions

If you need a visa to work in the UK, the Trust will meet the full cost of the Certificate of Sponsorship and the Visa. Each trust we partner with provides either a relocation package or some form of accommodation and this and any other things they pay for on your behalf are listed in your offer letter.

Each hospital has different accommodation, what is offered will be listed in your offer letter. Most Trusts have on site single occupancy accommodation, however in some cases accommodation is off site in private rentals. If you wish to bring your family, you will need to source your own accommodation.

Our pay scales are reviewed nationally every year and set for all NHS organisations. When you first join us, you will be on a Band 4 salary of £24,157 per year based on full time hours- 37.5 per week. Once you have completed the process of registration with the NMC, and you have a PIN, you will be put onto a Band 5 salary which is currently £25,665 – £31,534 per year again depending on experience. Your annual salary is paid to you in instalments over 12 months .You will also receive enhancements for working at nights, Sundays and Bank Holidays. All NHS employees are automatically enrolled into the NHS pension scheme. If you do not want to be part of the pension scheme you can opt-out.

Your hospital will provide you with a uniform to wear while you are at work. They also provide you with protective equipment (known as PPE) to wear to help stop the spread of infections between patients and also staff.

We want to do all we can to welcome you to your new life in the UK. Your new hospital is likely to consider applications from your family members for any job they are suitable for, though we cannot guarantee that we will be able to offer them employment.

You will be provided with lots of information about the area in which you will be living in, before you arrive.

The OSCE is practical examination called an OSCE (Objective Structured Clinical Examination). At this exam you act out scenarios which nurses are likely to encounter when they assess, plan, carry out and evaluate care. The Trust you work at will provide dedicate training for your exam and fully prepare you. Most Trusts will pay for you to take one OSCE test, but any re-sits are normally at the cost of the candidate.

Once you have passed your OSCE exam your results will be emailed within 5 working days. At that point the NMC will review your full application and check everything you have submitted as part of your application. It can take the NMC around 35 days to review everything and issue your PIN.
