Thank you for taking part in our Virtual Run for Yeovil Hospital Charity. Virtual running is the same as any type of running event, however you don’t have to be at an organised event to take part! You can do this 10k at any time you choose, at any location you choose, inside on a treadmill or outside on the road!
How it works
You can complete your 10k run on a date of your choice, within 30 days of registering for this event.
You can complete the distance at your own pace, it’s about crossing the finish line, not about the speed it took to get there.
Once you have completed your run, you will need to email fundraising@ydh.nhs.uk with proof of your completion. Proof can include screen shots of your running apps, running watches, fit bit or park run times etc.
Once your proof has been received, your medal will be posted out to you.
How much does it cost?
Registration is £12 per participant. Please note your registration fee is non-refundable.
Can I raise sponsor money alongside this event?
We would be very grateful to anyone who wishes to collect sponsors for their challenge. No matter how big or small, your donations will enable us to make a difference to our patients at Yeovil Hospital Charity. For instance, if you raised £10 you can fund a craft therapy pack for our patients in Oncology, £25 can fund a tea and cake round for our patients, £40 can fund a visit from Lofty the Therapy Pony, £75 can fund a visit from a musician to perform on the ward, £100 can fund play equipment for the children’s ward and £500 can fund life-saving equipment!
You can set up a Just Giving page or you can use a paper sponsor form to raise your funds it’s up to you!
