Nominations for this year’s staff iCARE Awards are now open, ready for the Autumn event to recognise our colleagues’ achievements throughout the last 12 months.

The Yeovil Hospital iCARE Awards have been held every year since 2013 – recognising and rewarding the very best of our amazing staff’s compassion, innovation and care over the previous 12 months.

We have all been working through the most challenging period the NHS has ever seen, from the pandemic to increased demand on our services and our efforts to reduce our waiting lists for our patients, there is more reason than ever to celebrate those exceptional individuals and departments who are making a real difference for patients, patients’ family and friends, and their colleagues.

The awards are an opportunity for us to shine a spotlight on those who dedicate themselves to saving and changing the lives of people in Somerset, every day – with more than 185,000 people relying upon our care and treatment every year, we have so many incredible stories and staff to celebrate.

This Autumn, the awards will be held as a virtual event online. All nominees will receive a letter from the trust and those who make the shortlist will receive a special food and drink hamper to enjoy while they watch the ceremony. There will be a trophy and certificate for all the winners and those who come highly commended.
