Mr Ockrim has worked at Yeovil District Hospital since 2003. He qualified from Glasgow University Medical School. and did his surgical training in Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital, London. He has been interested in enhanced recovery for many years and was on a fellowship to Prof. Henrik Kehlet to study enhanced recovery in Denmark. He has offered Yeovil District patients laparoscopic surgery with an enhanced recovery programme since 2004.
